Relief Society Lesson Hand Out

In the LDS church, members are called to serve in various positions.  I am currently a Relief Society teacher and teach a group of women once a month.

Yesterday, I taught a lesson based off the talk, “Catch the Wave,” given by Elder Russell M. Nelson in the April 2013 General Conference.

Elder Nelson’s talk was all about catching the wave of missionary work, whoever you are.  For my lesson, I focused on the Who, What, Why and How of missionary work.  Annnnndddd…I made a super cute hand out to go a long with it!

Annnnndddd…I figure someone else may benefit from my efforts, so here ya go!

I printed 4 on a sheet, front and back, then ditched them (and my kids) on Cammie to cut (the handouts, not my kids) for me while I went on a date with my hubby.  (Isn’t she so nice!)

Super Hero Birthday

Between the two of us, Cammie and I have 6 boys.  We are both on a first name basis with ALL super heroes.  Over the years, we’ve created (ok, bought) a lot of super hero costumes, decorated a lot of super hero birthday cakes, if it can be done in “super hero” we’ve probably done it.

Cammie’s youngest is turning 3 this month, and guess what?  He loves super heroes!  So, obviously he needed a super hero invitation to send out to all the cousins (there’s a lot of them!).  And, obviously, we’re going to share the template with ya!

Baby Book Template

I am a bad mom.  I am terrible at recording my kids’ milestones.  Yep, when my kids are having kids and asking me when they got their first tooth or took their first steps or finally potty trained, I will have to make it all up.  I’m a bad mom.

BUT, I have really, REALLY good intentions!  See, I even made an entire baby book template just ready for me to add stuff too and make all cute and then have printed somewhere.  Guess how many pages I’ve done?  TWO!  Day 1 of my 3rd kid’s life.  In all fairness I did do a baby book for my first (I’m not THAT bad), but my poor second child has nothin, and my 3rd (who is closer to 1 than newborn) has 2 whole pages.  I seriously need to get it together…like seriously.

I mean these are seriously cute pages…

I think I’m motivated to get on it!  If you’re feeling it too, or if you’re way better than me and want to be ahead of the game, you can have all of these for free!

To download a zipped folder of all 12 files, go HERE.

These are all 8.5×11 photoshop files (.psd) and ready to edit.  Oh, and if you happen to have a girl, and want a “girlier” version, become friends with the paint bucket tool and paint the numbers!

Good luck!  May you all be better moms than me!  You’re kids will thank you!

Family Year Books

Emily and I decided to do our Family Photo Albums as hardbound photo books.  We created one book for each year.  So far her and I have completed one year this way and we love it!  Since we know Photoshop so well it was easier for us to created our pages in photoshop then upload the pages to a photo book store such as Winkflash or Viovio.  We LOVE the quality of Shutterfly but they don’t offer books in this size of 8.5×11 so we had to go with different companies.  We do however love the way our books turned out.  We have decided to share our templates with you.  Here are 40 different templates you can use.  Gook luck creating your family photo albums!!  Here are a few of my pages!
